Her passion for enhancing each client’s unique beauty and her ability to create personalized, confidence-boosting styles make her a perfect fit for our team. Heather believes that hair and makeup are more than just aesthetics—they’re about self-expression and feeling great.

At Torrid Boudoir, we believe in more than just capturing beautiful images—it’s about creating a transformative experience for every woman who steps in front of the camera. That’s why, when a new hair & makeup artist joins our team, I invite them to do their very own boudoir shoot with me. It’s not just a perk of the job; it’s a crucial step in helping them truly understand what our clients experience from start to finish.
Like all of my other clients, she had her own set of nerves and hesitations, but ultimately she embraced the process wholeheartedly. Watching her transform from behind the scenes to the center of attention was incredible—not just for the beautiful images we created, but because she got to experience the vulnerability, empowerment and celebration that our clients feel.
Having a hair & makeup artist who truly understands the emotions that come with a boudoir session is invaluable. Heather’s hands-on experience gives her even more insight into the artistry and care we put into making every client feel stunning and confident.
Her shoot was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Boudoir is so much more than photos; it’s about feeling seen, beautiful and powerful. And now, with Heather fully immersed in the experience, I know she’ll bring even more empathy and passion to every session she helps create.

How long have you been a H+MUA?
I’ve been a HMUA for 8 years now.
What is your favorite part about being a H+MUA?
Connecting with women & making them feel like the best version’s of themselves. 🫶🏻
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Yoga, biking, reading, dancing, making clothes & jewelry, spending time with my dog (Smudge), coffee hangs with friends & spending time with family.
What are your FAVORITES?
Food: Italian
Drink: Latte or Dirty Martini (depending on the time of day)
Color: Mustard Yellow
Band/Musician: My favorite DJ is Gryffin
Movie: I know it’s not a movie, but “FRIENDS” is my all time favorite thing to watch
Animal: My dog, Smudge 🐶
What makes you the most excited about working with Elizabeth and Torrid Boudoir?
Once I connected with Elizabeth I knew this was the best place for me. The environment is so positive and laid back & the clients that are drawn to Torrid are my kind of women🙌🏻💫💛
