Out Of My Comfort Zone | Austin Boudoir Photography

So, I randomly logged into my Facebook today and the first thing I saw was a post in this awesome women’s business group I’m in called The Moxie Entrepenuer, led by the incredible Bronwyn Martin of Brand Moxie.  It was asking us to step out our comfort zones and post a short video of ourselves at that very moment.

Typically, I would have scrolled right over it — I was in my jammies, no make-up, dirty hair…  But honestly, even if I were all dressed up, I really don’t think I would’ve done it.  I HATE being videoed.  Like, really, really hate it.  But then,  I saw that my friend Andrea had posted hers just 3 minutes before.  So, I said fuck it!  Let’s do this!  And so I did.

What have you done lately that was totally outside of your comfort zone?  And also, what have you chosen NOT to do?

Would booking a boudoir session with me & my incredible team be on your list?
Comment below with your thoughts!  I’d LOVE to hear from you!!

We all need to step out of our comfort zone! Very inspiring, short and sincere.
But you still look beautiful without make up!

I agree with you on hating myself in video. I recently had a behind the scenes shot for my business, and had to accept that I am not so bad on video. I was asked to talk a bit about myself to which I declined and this post has me thinking I need to say yes next time. 🙂

It was way outside of my comfort zone too, and only the 2nd video of myself that I had ever made! I then went on to make a video to introduce myself to my new page, Tween Girl Power, and to issue them a video challenge as well! I’ve decided to say yes to more opportunities that come my way, regardless of how afraid I am!
